The Inn, originally built as a private
home more than a century ago, has 
a front porch ideal for watching the
swans on Silver Lake, while enjoying
ocean breezes and taking a respite 
from the summer sun.

The large living room has ample space
to enjoy a game of cards or visits 
with other guests. In the quiet season,
enjoy serene time by the fireplace 
with a hot drink. 

A full Breakfast Buffet is served including juice, cereal, fresh fruit
and yogurt.

Each day a different hot entree is featured ranging from Egg Frittata to Caramelized French Toast.
 Also enjoy Inn specialties which include Peach & Blueberry muffins 
and Crumb Cake.  All baked at the Inn.

French doors open into the cheerful
dining room or select a table for two
in the solarium.  Trays are available
for breakfast on the porch.

A year-round solarium overlooking the lake is the perfect spot
 for that first cup of coffee, breakfast at a table for two 
or catching up on the latest book. 

Afternoon refreshments including our "Dove" cookies are
served while you enjoy the view and relax with friends.

 Two outdoor showers are a favorite when returning from the beach or anytime.
It's great seeing the stars overhead during a late night shower. 

End the day listening to the birds in the
quiet of our secluded garden.

The Morning Dove Inn, located between the historic towns of Ocean Grove and
Spring Lake, is close to various nearby attractions to delight anytime of the year.
New York City is a short drive or take the train or ferry.

The Stone Pony of Bruce Springsteen fame is only ten minutes
away in Asbury Park.  Did you know, the "E Street Band" is named
for a street in Belmar where Bruce practiced in the early years.
